About the role
As a leader, you are only as strong as your team and you know that leading from the heart and consistently prioritizing people is essential. You see your team members as equals and just as you recognize that you have something to learn from each and every one of them, you inadvertently awaken the inner leader in those around you. As Regional Sales Manager in Ontario, you excel at growing sales in your region by hiring, inspiring and motivating your team of dedicated Account Mangers toward our shared vision. You have a seat at the leadership table and are an advocate for your team and customers in Ontario, working closely with Sales Leadership to communicate news and ideas from the field and execute strategic priorities. The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales.

What you will be doing:
  • Performance driven – You consistently surpass overall revenue targets year-over-year for each brand
  • Coaching Consistency - You partner with your team of inside and outside account managers in Ontario through regular communication – all to help you build relationships, ensure accountability and seek growth both professionally and personally for your team
  • Building partnerships – You continuously build and support strong partnerships both externally with customers and internally with key stakeholders to ensure growth.
  • Trade marketing excellence – You ensure each brands’ marketing funds are being both utilized by each rep and exceed ROI expectations
  • Data innovation – You analyze sales data to discover opportunities and quickly turn these into action plans that are easy for your team to adopt and implement.
  • Team builder – You recruit, hire and on-board a team of A-players for Ontario, when vacancies exist.

You have/you are:
  • Core Values – You are aligned both personally and professionally with the TallGrass core values.
  • Experience – You have at least 2 years of Account Management and 5 years of sales management experience preferably in the in the natural health industry and/or Business Education.
  • Performance driven - You consistently exceed your quarterly sales by brand budgets.
  • Mentor – You observe, evaluate, give meaningful, timely feedback and motivate your team. You model best practices and help team members to focus, be creative and think outside the box with the resources available.
  • Team Player - You love to collaborate and seek to build strong relationships with other TallGrass stakeholders such as your fellow TallGrassians, retailers, brand partners and industry members.
  • Clear and effective communicator - You are able to clearly and effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with your coworkers at TallGrass, our customers and our brand partners.
