Job Summary/Mission
We’re looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing team based in Vancouver. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical and creative skills to the position, collaborating with internal teams to produce high calibre assets. We are looking for an individual who is excited by communications design. This person will possess both passion for conceptualizing print pieces, packaging and digital assets with impressive attention to detail in execution.
 
This is a hybrid part-time contract role needed for 3 days/week. A minimum of 1 day/week will be in-person at our Vancouver office - with the option to work the remaining 2 days from your home office. The contract will end at the end December 31, 2025 – with the possibility for extension or expansion.

Core Competencies
  • Print & digital excellence – you understand what is required to make great print, packaging and digital design.
  • Technically proficient – High proficiency using professional tools including Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is a requirement. Experience using Project Management/Collaboration (such as ClickUp. Asana, and Workfront) and wireframing tools (such as Figma, XD, Sketch, or InVision) preferred.
  • Creative, inquisitive and adaptable to rapidly changing digital and retail landscape – actively shares ideas with cross-functional team
  • 1+ year experience working in on an in-house design team or at an agency, plus degree or combination of diploma in graphic design and relevant experience.
  • A dazzling portfolio showcasing your growth and passion for digital, print and packaging.
  • Up-to-date on the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design
  • Humble – you are able to give and receive honest feedback with the best intentions.
  • Organized and able to handle deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on quality
