Job Summary/Mission
We’re looking for a values-based Senior Graphic Designer to take the lead creatively and coach a growing, talented team based in Vancouver. The ideal Senior Graphic Designer will bring a mix of artistic, technical, marketing, and business acumen to the position, elevating our company and our valued brand partners. We are looking for an individual who will inspire and be inspired by others to take our creative efforts to the next level. The ideal candidate will have an eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic visuals that connect with audiences.

Critical Success Factors/Outcomes
· Thoughtful Conceptualization & Quality Execution – you synthesize ideas and translate concepts into visuals that inspire our team, customers and consumers.
· Creative Direction – you provide clear creative direction and insightful feedback on in-house projects. You are excellent at communicating your vision to stakeholders and external contractors.
· Champion the Brands – brand standards are continuously being elevated. Designers are coached to grow, and other teams are supported with creative ideas and feedback.
· Digital Design – You create captivating motion graphics and dynamic visual content for digital channels.
· Packaging & POS Design – you have a vision for what makes people take notice and grab a product off the shelf. You meaningfully contribute to our achievement of revenue targets.
· Contribute to Growth – you create customer- and consumer-facing materials, infographics and other visuals that deliver results in each channel – retail, ecommerce, social, industry events and more.
· Team Oversight – You ensure internal adherence to processes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You propose and iterate processes to improve quality and decrease turnaround times. Deadlines are met or adjusted according to business priorities.
· Efficient Workflows – you ensure best in class standards and processes for briefing, production, quality, and client service.
· Current on Trends – you analyze consumer motivations, the competitive landscape, and innovations within design, presenting findings to the team on a regular basis.
· Collaborate with and provide a high level of service to marketing, sales, ecommerce and education teams, to ensure priorities are aligned to business objectives.
· Organization – you’ll ensure files are stored in a consistent, secure manner and identify opportunities to improve file sharing protocols.

Core Competencies
· Digital and Print Excellence – you are a fluent creative with experience in digital design, motion graphics and print.
· Technical Proficiency – Expert proficiency using professional tools including Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects) is a requirement. Experience with Project Management/Collaboration (such as ClickUp. Asana, and Workfront) and wireframing tools (such as XD, Sketch, InVision or Figma) strongly preferred.
· Creative, inquisitive and adaptable to rapidly changing digital and retail landscape – actively shares ideas with cross-functional team
· 7+ years experience working in consumer-facing design or agency work plus degree or diploma in graphic design
· An exceptional portfolio showcasing experience with digital, print, packaging and in-store materials and displays.
· Up-to-date on the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design
· Ability to give and receive valuable feedback
· Organized and skilled handling a variety of assignments under deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on branding, consistency and quality
· Self-motivated, ambitious, high achiever, entrepreneurial mindset
· Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives

· Passion for the natural health and beauty industry
· Maintain great relationships with partners, vendor and contributors

Nice-to-Have
· Photography, videography, video editing
· Experience integrating GenAI into workflows
· French
· Knowledge of Canadian food and NPN labelling requirements
